About the Role:

Smart Solutions is seeking experienced and dynamic Structured Cabling Technicians/Helpers to join our team on a groundbreaking 5-year project. This role is perfect for those who have a knack for installing structured cabling and associated support pathways in commercial environments, from hospitals to distribution centers.

What You Will Do:

• Install and route CAT5 or CAT 6 cabling in commercial settings.
• Work with installing fiber, terminating data jacks, and installing support structures such as ladders, racks, and j-hooks.
• Engage in the installation of various types of data switches.
• Perform all cable pulling, suspension, fireproofing, terminating, and testing in accordance with NEC and other local regulations.

What We're Looking For:

• 4+ years experience in installing voice and data systems in commercial environments.
• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC Standards.
• Proven experience in low voltage work, including Fiber, Voice & Data, CCTV, Security Systems, and A/V.
• Scissor lift experience and ability to work off lifts comfortably.
• Basic telecom tools ownership.
• A valid Driver’s License and LV License (preferred).
• Willingness to travel 100% of the time.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
• Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands our customer base and ensures a strong presence.
• Own the recruitment, setting of objectives, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs.

Overview

Our company is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience working with low voltage systems in both residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, such as security systems, fire alarms, and network wiring
• Test and troubleshoot low voltage systems to identify and resolve any issues
• Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working with low voltage systems
• Experience with installation and maintenance of security systems, fire alarms, and network wiring
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Must have your own reliable transportation and tools
• Flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a vocational or technical program in low voltage systems preferred
• NC LV License required or Equivalent
